Sean Hayes and Queen Latifah joining ‘America’s Got Talent’ as guest judges

After 14 seasons, America’s Got Talent is still finding a way to make history. For the first time ever, the show is having guest judges for the semi-final rounds.
NBC announced on Tuesday that Will and Grace star Sean Hayes and actress Queen Latifah will be temporarily be joining the judge’s desk. Hayes will join the panel tonight and next week, it will be Queen Latifah’s turn. Both will sit in the middle between permanent judges Howie Mandel, Gabrielle Union, Julianne Hough, and Simon Cowell.
Hayes is best known for his time on the NBC comedy Will and Grace, where he’s played Jack McFarland for the show’s entire run, including the rebooted seasons.
Latifah is a singer, actress, producer, and comedian. She was rumored to be replacing Mel B on the judging panel last year, but that never came to fruition.
Over the next two weeks, the final 22 acts will perform with just five acts advancing each week. The finals will air in just three weeks time with the top 10 acts performing one last time for the $1 million prize.
