Season 2 of America’s Got Talent: The Champions begins filming next week and there’s a new face joining and an old face returning to the judging panel.

NBC announced on Thursday that Heidi Klum is returning to the judges desk after a season away while Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon will replace former judge Mel B on the panel.

The announcement was made on the show’s official YouTube channel with Season 13 and reigning Champions winner Shin Lim doing some really cool magic.

Klum returns to the judging panel after leaving the show in Season 14. She originally joined America’s Got Talent in 2014 and stayed for five seasons. Dixon is coming stateside for the first time but is no stranger to the Got Talent franchise as she has been a judge on Britain’s Got Talent since 2012.

The network did not say whether or not this change is permanent and will carry over to next summer’s 15th season. However it appears that NBC views America’s Got Talent: The Champions and regular America’s Got Talent as two separate shows, so it seems that the switch in judges will be only for the spin-off.
