Big Brother continued on Sunday night and saw one houseguest continue his dominance in the game. In case you missed it, here’s a recap of what went down on Sunday’s episode.
Jackson can’t be stopped
The episode began with the continuation of the Head of Household (HOH) competition. Jackson says in the Diary Room that he does not want to win and would rather have Cliff or Nicole win. Basically, he wants anyone but Tommy to win.
Jessica falls first, which is not surprising given she lasted just eight minutes in the previous endurance competition. Cliff and Christie fall next, leaving only Nicole, Tommy, and Jackson remaining. Despite her best effort, Nicole falls next. Jackson realizes in that moment that he must pull out the win because he knows that Tommy will nominate Nicole and Cliff if he wins.
Jackson tells Tommy that he’ll be safe if he drops. After some more time passes, Tommy decides to drop, meaning that Jackson wins the HOH competition and his fifth straight competition overall. Talk about a massive threat.
Time to find a target
With Jackson as the HOH, he needs to find a target this week. The only problem is he’s got limited options. He and Holly are in a final four deal with Cliff and Nicole and he just told Tommy that he’s safe, so that leaves Christie and Jessica.
Jackson tells Christie that she is going to be a pawn this week and she doesn’t take the news well. She complains that she is always on the block and wants it to be someone else. Meanwhile, Jessica is so clueless that she doesn’t even realize Jackson is putting her up as a nominee until he tells her in the HOH room.
Jackson nominates the obvious
At the nomination ceremony, Jackson sticks with his original idea to nominate Christie and Jessica. His reasoning is simple: they are his biggest threats to win the $500,000 prize. I’m not too sure I would call Jessica a threat since she has no idea what’s going on in the game, but sure Jackson, let’s go with that.
