‘America’s Got Talent’ recap: The last five finalists are revealed

America’s Got Talent Season 14 comes to an end next week and last night, we learned which five acts would be making the finale.

Wednesday’s results show opened with an epic performance from Britain’s Got Talent winner Tokio Myers and The Police’s Stewart Copeland. Host Terry Crews then returned to reveal that Alex Dowis, Emanne Beasha, and Ryan Niemiller were in danger of going home. The fans would have a chance to save one with the live Dunkin Save vote later on. Terry then revealed V. Unbeatable was the first act to advance to the finals.

Following some filler and a guest performance from Season 10 finalist Piff The Magic Dragon, Terry returned with some more results. He revealed Detroit Youth Choir and Voice of Service were the next two acts that made it through. It was then time to find out who won the Dunkin Save and Terry revealed that Ryan Niemiller had gotten enough votes to make it through.

For the final time this season, the power was in the hands of the judges as they decided between Alex Dowis and Emanne Beasha for the final spot in next week’s finale. Gabrielle, Julianne, and Simon voted for Emanne, while Howie was the lone vote for Alex. This meant Emanne Beasha was the last act to make the finals.

America’s Got Talent continues next Tuesday with the finals LIVE from the Dolby Theatre with host Terry Crews.
