Zac Mirabelli and Elizabeth Weber crowned winners of ‘Love Island USA’ 2019

Love Island USA: Zac Reveals The Moment He Fell For Elizabeth

After a month of love, friendship, and drama, Zac Mirabelli and Elizabeth Weber were crowned the winners of Love Island USA season one on Wednesday night’s finale.

Elizabeth and Zac won the show while Dylan Curry and Alexandra Stewart came in second place. Meanwhile, Ray Gantt and Caroline “Caro” Viehweg finished in third and Weston Richey and Emily Salch came in fourth place.

“I found a love here that is going to last me a lifetime,” Zac said following the win. “I want to thank all of you guys. I wouldn’t have been able to get through this experience without the friendship and love. My heart goes out to you guys.”

Elizabeth added: “It has been a complete fairytale and a dream come true. I’m so lucky I found Zac.”

Host Arielle Vandenberg had one more task for the winning couple. She gave Elizabeth the chance to steal the entire $100,000 prize for herself or split it with Zac. She did not even need to think about it; she quickly said she’s splitting the money with her newfound love.

The first season of the show ended with subpar ratings, averaging a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demo and just 2.1 million viewers overall. That is less than ideal due to the fact CBS spent $30 million to bring the show to the states. However, the network recently announced it has renewed the dating show for a second season.
