‘Big Brother 21’ recap: Nick Maccarone sent to jury on unanimous vote

On Thursday night’s live episode of Big Brother, Nick Maccarone was the latest houseguest to be evicted from the Big Brother house and move in to the jury house.
Host Julie Chen Moonves spoke to the house to get the live vote and eviction started. It may have seemed like Nick had a chance to stay but the edit was deceiving. Both Christie and Nick gave their pleas but Nick was sent packing on a 5-0 vote.
Following his eviction, Julie and Nick spoke about his time in the house. He said he had good relationships with everyone in the house and had no secrets.
“I had good relationships with everyone,” he said. “Everyone knew what I was doing and after I got kicked out of my alliance, I wasn’t going to sit there. So I hooked up with Cliff and Nicole. I had to keep playing the game.”
Julie then asked him about his relationship with Bella and how serious it was. “I live in Jersey and we didn’t want to do long distance,” he said. “I can’t wait to see her again and if it works out after the show, it’ll be great.”
We then got to see the start of the next Head of Household (HOH) competition. It was the classic hanging wall competition where the last person left on the wall is the new HOH. But we only got to see the beginning before the episode was over.
