After a highly successful first season, MTV announced on Monday that it has renewed The Hills: New Beginnings for a second season.
The show returned to MTV last month and was the second most-watched cable series premiere among young adults in 2019. The premiere had a 0.70 rating among adults 18-34, according to Nielsen’s live-plus-same-day metric, and was in the top 10 trending topics across social media.
At this point, it is unclear if the entire cast will return or if any new faces will be added for the second season. The reboot follows the daily lives of the OG cast members Spencer and Heidi Pratt, Brody Jenner, Whitney Port, Stephanie Pratt, Frankie Delgado, and Jason Wahler as well as new cast members Brandon Lee and Mischa Barton.
