It: Chapter Two is headed to SDCC 2019

Welcome back to Derry.
It: Chapter Two director Andy Muschietti has confirmed on his Instagram that the movie is heading to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con on Wednesday, July 17th.
For the past two years, New Line Cinema and Warner Brothers have kicked off San Diego Comic-Con with ScareDiego, an offsite panel featuring some of the studio’s upcoming horror offerings. It’s fitting that the sequel is returning to ScareDiego, since the 2017 edition featured a sneak preview for IT: Chapter One, as well as the first teasers for Annabelle: Creation and The Nun.
The young Losers’ Club made an appearance at the first panel, so we’re hoping that they return and are joined by the adult crew. The film stars James McAvoy as Bill, Jessica Chastain as Beverly, Bill Hader as Richie, James Ransone as Eddie, Andy Bean as Stanley, Jay Ryan as Ben and Isaiah Mustafa as Mike. Above all else, we would love to see Pennywise himself Bill Skarsgard grace the stage.
No word yet on how to attend, but if it’s similar to last year’s process, Wednesday night badge holders will need to grab a free ticket on the afternoon of Preview Night.
We’ll be on hand to cover the event in San Diego, so stay tuned for some spooky updates.
