Nickelodeon Revives ‘All That’ With Kenan Thompson as Executive Producer

90s kids, rejoice! Nickelodeon’s All That is being revived for a new generation.

It was announced that Nickelodeon will revive the hit show with fan favorite Kenan Thompson as the executive producer. Thompson got his start on All That as a cast member when it first aired in 1994.

Thompson told Variety that this revival “means everything to me. It was my first job I ever had. It gave me an opportunity.”

The revival will, of course, be led by a brand new cast. However, it won’t be without callbacks to its past, as Nickelodeon expects that former cast members will likely make an appearance.

Brian Riggins, the co-creator and executive producer of the former original series also told Variety: “We think there’s a great opportunity to find the next pool of stars. We want to bring the show back in a real fun way. This summer, we are going to bring back a lot of the original cast and the cast through the years, and let them introduce the new cast of All That to the world.”

As Thompson takes on this exciting opportunity, he’s also made it known that he’s not done with Saturday Night Live just yet. He will balance both projects as he plans to be an integral part of this revival.

More news is expected to be announced in the near future with cast announcements, etc.
