New Beat Fund Releases Video for “When She’s Sober”

West coast alternative band New Beat Fund recently released a video for their single, “When She’s Sober.” The band, comprised of Jeffery Laliberte, Paul Laliberte, and Shelby Archer, really focuses on showcasing their artistry throughout.

I didn’t expect there to be a fully choreographed routine in the middle of the piece, as you typically don’t associate choreography with the alternative genre. Yet, the stunning and haunting visuals created by the human body really add a lot to the song and make for a much more powerful piece of art. Other vignettes are added throughout to help tell the story behind the song. At first glance, there is a lot happening at once but somehow it all seems to come together beautifully.

The band is releasing a new EP, Chillanthropy Pt.1, later this year, which is expected to be “a swirling collection of hip-hop infused alt-rock that uniquely defines what it is to be a band in the modern musical landscape.”
