Netflix Picks Up Lucifer Following Fox Cancellation

Lucifer fans rejoice! According to Deadline, Netflix has made a deal for comic book drama Lucifer, which will become a Netflix original starting with its upcoming fourth season.
In Deadline’s report, it states that “there were multiple interested buyers, including Netflix rival Amazon. It took time for the deal to be ironed out as the US SVOD rights to the first three seasons of Lucifer are owned by Hulu.”
Tom Ellis, who plays the title role, took to Twitter on Friday afternoon to share how excited he was about the show being picked up:
WE DID IT !!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to everyone for your continued support and love for #Lucifer I am so happy for all our fans I’m going to burst ✊?❤ https://t.co/DhvTdevGW2
