It’s a MAD, mad world! The Return of MAD Magazine

For those lovers of MAD Magazine, we’re excited to announce that not only are they back as a magazine (available at newsstands and digitally) but they’re also launching two new ways to enjoy their hilarity: a new channel on Twitch and a MAD podcast!

Twitch TV is the online streaming platform for all things pop culture, nerd life, comedy, and conversation. The MAD channel will broadcast every other Friday (starting 4/20) from 4-6 pm PST with celebrity guests, like Steve Agee, Jordan Morris, Candy Lawrence, along with other hilarious comedians and actors. There will be live-narrated video game play commentary, live art sketches and tabletop game challenges. “From wild gaming antics to absurd discussions with a premiere guest lineup, viewers will get a hysterical glimpse into the creative minds behind MAD, while engaging with other fans across the country.”

The MAD podcast arrives later this summer and will combine new perspectives with that classic MAD wit we all love. It will be recorded and released every other week, hosted by MAD Editor Allie Goertz and will feature scripted comedy bits, call-in discussions, and original music. It will be available on iTunes, Stitcher, and the MAD blog as soon as it’s released.
