Following seven seasons on Pretty Little Liars, Lucy Hale stars in a new series as Stella Abbott, a young woman who, for the last 8 years, has believed she had a Life Sentence. She’s faced her terminal cancer diagnosis by facing her fears, traveling the world and getting swept up in a whirlwind romance. Then the saying, “If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans” gives her an unexpected reprieve…remission. Now all the rash decisions she made will have a profound impact on the future she never thought she had, and the sacrifices her family made on her behalf are coming to light, shaking her to the core. This multi-generational, coming-of-age story proves we all end up living somewhere between our dreams and reality and–if we let it–that unexpected balance can be a very good thing.
Life Sentence also stars Elliot Knight (Once Upon A Time), Dylan Walsh (Nip/Tuck), Gillian Vigman (The Hangover), Jayson Blair (Whiplash), Brooke Lyons (The Affair) and Carlos PenaVega (Big Time Rush). From Doozer Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios, with executive producers Erin Cardillo (Fuller House) Richard Keith (Fuller House), Bill Lawrence (Cougar Town), Jeff Ingold (Ground Floor), Oliver Goldstick (Pretty Little Liars) and Lee Toland Krieger (Riverdale).
