Netflix Cancels “Sense 8”
Netflix announced today that they have cancelled yet another show. Sense8 was a sci-fi favorite helmed by The Wachowskis (The Matrix, V for Vendetta) and it’s diverse cast dealt with politics, gender, religion, and was overall a great representation of the world as we know it. The show is shot uniquely in 16 cities and 13 countries, which unfortunately came with a high price tag. In Season 2, each episode cost an estimated $9 million.
The announcement comes just days after actor Brian J. Smith urged fans to tweet #RenewSense8 in an effort to save the show.

Even though the show is done at Netflix, fans are keeping hope alive that it could get picked up by another streaming service like Amazon or Hulu. Until then, we can only hope for closure after the devastating Season 2 finale.
