Carnage Joins Sony’s Venom Movie

It’s hard to keep up with all of the Marvel news lately, but buckle your seat belts: Sony announced something fans of the Spider-Man comics have been waiting for for quite a while. Carnage, another classic villain, will be joining Venom in the stand alone Venom movie to be released in October of 2018.

Carnage made his first appearance in comics as Cletus Kassidy when he was in a jail cell with Eddie Brock (Venom), and ended up getting some of the symbiote on him as well. It should be interesting to see how this all plays out considering Spider-Man has not been confirmed to make an appearance in any of these movies (but who knows). No word yet on who will be playing Carnage as well, but I look forward to see what is to come!
