D23 Expo

July is usually a busy month for cons and 2017 is no exception. This year, Disney’s D23 Expo will hit the Anaheim convention center from July 14 to July 16 and their lineup looks pretty awesome!

The Legends Awards Ceremony is set to honor this year’s recipients: Stan Lee, Oprah Winfrey, and the late Carrie Fisher. Kicked off by Disney CEO Bob Iger, this should be a great way to start the con.

Some of the other main events include a panel from Pixar and Disney Animation Studios. And on July 15 at 10:30 a.m. PT, Disney, Lucasfilm, and Marvel will showcase their slate of upcoming films, which is likely to be the most buzzed about talk of the con.

Every year, D23 is one of the most sought after conventions to attend and this year it takes place just one week before San Diego Comic Con. Make sure you check back here for all of the nerdy updates to come out of D23.
