The Circle to Premiere at Tribeca Film Festival

Imagine a world where everything is monitored and a powerful tech company can see and track your every move? Doesn’t sound too far-fetched, does it? James Ponsoldt and Dave Eggers explore this Black Mirror-esque concept in the film, The Circle, based on Eggers’ novel of the same name.
Emma Watson’s Mae Holland is hired to work at the world’s largest tech company, Circle, which is run by Eamon Bailey (Tom Hanks). As she engages in a groundbreaking experiment, she realizes there is more at stake than just her job.
The movie also features John Boyega, Karen Gillan, Ellar Coltrane, Patton Oswalt, and Glenne Headly, along with marking Bill Paxton’s last performance, as he passed away in February.
The film will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 26 & 27, 2017. Even though tickets are sold out, Rush Tickets will be available. A stand-by line will form approximately 45-minutes prior to the scheduled start time [26th – 8:45pm & 27th – 5:30] at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center (199 Chambers St, New York, NY 10007) venue. Admittance is based on availability and will begin 15 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets, payable upon entry, with a limit of one Rush Ticket per person.
If you can’t make it out to Tribeca, the film will arrive in a theater near you on April 28, 2017.
