MTV to Host Free Afternoon Fan Festival

What’s almost better than a brand new awards’ show hosted by MTV?

A free afternoon fan festival hosted by Terrance J and MTV News correspondent Gaby Wilson!

In what I will assume to be in the spirits of their annual Fandom Awards, MTV will put on a free concert Sunday May 7 from 2-5 pm PT, including bands like All Time Low, and artists like Zara Larsson and Bea Miller.

Not only will fans in attendance get to partake in the music experience but they will also get a front row seats to red carpet arrivals as the fest will stream red carpet interviews and screen exclusive sneak peeks of movies and TV shows.

And that’s not all, fans attending the event will have the opportunity to win prizes, including tickets to attend the “Movie & TV Awards,” plus they will have access to food, drinks, games and more.  Doors open at 12:30 p.m. PT.  Admission is on a first come, first served basis. And for those who can’t make it to either, never fret, the festival will be livestreamed on MTV.com and air on MTV Live.

The MTV Movie & TV Awards airs live Sunday, May 7th, 8 pm ET/PT from the Shrine Auditorium in L.A.
