“The 100” Renewed for Fifth Season

The CW has officially renewed The 100 for a fifth season, and fans of the hit post-apocalyptic sci-fi drama couldn’t be more ecstatic.

News of the renewal came Friday, March 10, from The CW President Mark Pedowitz.  The 100, which is currently in its fourth season, has seen a significant amount of delayed viewing, with a +70% increase in total viewers, a +73% gain in adults 18-34, and a +86% increase in adults 18-49.

The 100, based on the series of books by author Kass Morgan, premiered in March of 2014 and followed the story of a group of delinquents sent to Earth in an attempt to ensure the survival of the human race.  Those left in space on the Ark eventually followed suit, and since then, the show has seen the struggle of survival in a post-apocalyptic world, the characters facing other survivors on the ground, Mountain Men, and AIs.  The fourth season has shown the characters facing their biggest threat yet: nuclear reactors around the world melting down and the subsequent radiation that threatens to render the Earth uninhabitable.

So what do you think?  Which characters will survive and make it to the now promised season 5 and which will meet their demise in season 4?  What do you hope to see in season 5?
