Ginger Ale & The Monowhales Stream New EP Ahead of Release

It’s just a matter of days until the release of Toronto indie-pop act Ginger Ale & The Monowhales EP BANG. In preparation for the release, the band has decided not just to offer up a taste of the project to fans. Instead, BANG is available right now for streaming in its entirety on Allmusic.com.
When you take the individual life experiences of four best friends, mix in the struggles of making it as an indie band, and combine that with the love of a supportive army of fans…BANG, you get the EP you see before you,” says singer Sally Shaar. “ Every time we’re recognized on the streets of Toronto, or perform to a room of appreciative fans, we know that the opportunity to do this is a precious gift from those we love. It seems only fair to give something in return, so we hope this record gives you something to sink your teeth into, a bit of sonic sustenance to satiate those hungry ears of yours.
Among the five tracks of BANG is “Home,” the band’s first single from the EP that garnered quite a bit of attention at the time of its release, even earning the band a mention from John Tory, the mayor of Toronto. This will be the band’s first EP since 2014’s HA!
BANG is available for preorder now and will be released October 14.
