Brandi Alexander Joins the Stellar Cast of CBC TV’s “The Romeo Section”
Brandi Alexander has joined the cast of the critically acclaimed espionage crime drama series The Romeo Section for its second season. Born and raised in Vancouver, Brandi discovered her love of acting at a young age, launching her career by working as a model for print, commercials, and runway. She also immersed herself into the pageant world before she started acting. Known for Fifty Shades of Grey, Canada’s Next Top Model and Deal or No Deal, her new leading role on The Romeo Section highlights another new benchmark in her career. The show is created by renowned showrunner Chris Haddock (Intelligence, Da Vinci’s Inquest) and has already won an outstanding number of Leo Awards.
The second season premieres tonight (Wednesday, October 5th) at 9:00 pm ET/PT on CBC TV and will consist of 10 new one-hour episodes in which the players get played, the powerful stumble and the meek rise to power. Brandi plays Lana, the skeptical girlfriend of a downtown east side drug dealer and manager to the front for his heroin business. Lana reunites with her old flame Rufus, played by Juan Riedinger (Narcos, R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour), when he is sent to make a deal with her current boyfriend. The show also stars Andrew Airlie, who returns this season portraying the role of “Wolfgang McGee.” Chris Haddock sums up his thoughts on what the fans can expect from The Romeo Section‘s second season with three simple words:

Brandi has also starred in many other popular TV shows, which include: Motive, Blackstone, Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce, Supernatural, and Smallville, to name a few. A ground-breaking point in Brandi’s career came when she was given the opportunity to be a part of the frenzy that came with the Fifty Shades of Grey phenomenon. The erotic novel series, written by E.L. James, has topped bestseller lists around the world, selling over 125 million copies worldwide. Although the role was small, it was an altogether unforgettable opportunity for Brandi. Reflecting on the experience, Brandi says, “Playing a role on this film to an audience with such an enormous following was definitely an experience I will never forget!”
Aside from acting, Brandi is also a registered holistic nutritionist, emphasizing the importance of health. To her, this means eating a very nutritious diet and also exercising regularly, which she adamantly promotes in an effort to help others.
