The Maine Announces the Inaugural 8123 Fest!!!!

Thursday evening September 15, The Maine announced the first ever 8123 Fest in a special announcement broadcast live from their Facebook page. The band plans to host and headline the festival in their hometown of Phoenix, AZ on January 21st, 2017 in honor of their ten-year anniversary as a band.

Drummer Pat Kirch explains,

8123 Fest is us taking everything that has been a part of our band for the past 10 years and putting it all together for one weekend.

The festival is the first time the band has ever attempted something of this nature. At three days long, there will be no shortage of activities and events planned for fans of the band. 8123 has partnered with local hotels and restaurants to give out of town fans a full Arizona experience. 8123 Fest features performances from 13 bands along with The Maine. Not yet finalized, the full lineup will be revealed at a later date. On the festival grounds, fans will be able to experience exclusive meet & greets, access the 8123 pop up shop, visit The Maine art gallery, check out themed games, eat from Phoenix area food trucks and much, much more. Night one of the festival is reserved exclusively for those who purchase the very limited 8123 Gold Bundle. Fans with this package will see The Maine perform their album Pioneer in its entirety in a very intimate setting. They’ll also be able to attend a live Q & A session with the band on the same day. Additionally, the 8123 Gold Bundle grants fans early entry to the 8123 pop up shop for first access to festival merchandise and early entry to the festival itself on Saturday. 8123 Gold Bundle tickets will go on sale Monday, September 19th. Make sure you bookmark the festival’s official website to keep up with the latest announcements and details. Early bird ticket packages will be sold at a discounted rate, and go on sale September 21st. These are standard general admission tickets, granting access to Saturday of the festival. Sunday will be a free meet & greet with the band for all fans – including those who do not pick up tickets – to make the tenth birthday celebrations accessible to everyone.

In the words of vocalist John O’Callaghan,

We’re not trying to take over the world, just trying to figure out where we belong within it. Thanks to the 8123 family, it’s becoming more and clearer that we belong and we belong together.

Make your plans today and mark your calendars now so that you do not miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity to make music history with The Maine! 8123 Fest takes place in Phoenix, AZ on January 20th – 22nd 2017. 8123 Gold Bundle tickets go on sale at 5 pm PST on Monday, September 19th.   Early bird tickets will be on sale Wednesday, September 21st.
