MCM Brandon Keener

If you were walking down the street and saw Brandon Keener, you would likely have no idea who he is. BUT, if you were to listen to him speak? You’d definitely know.

Brandon Keener is an accomplished voice actor, having voiced many characters over an impressive career. That’s not to say that he’s never been in front of the camera though; he’s had onscreen roles in Catch Me If You Can, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the TV series, not the movie), He’s Just Not That Into You, and Castle just to name a few.

He is perhaps best known for his role as my Space Alien Boyfriend (which I totally stole that term from fellow TNWU writer, Lyndsey), Garrus Vakarian from the Mass Effect video game series. He’s a romance-able character (sadly, not until the 2nd game in the series) and I’ve yet to romance anyone but him. Sorry, but I just can’t. My heart belongs to that scarred Turian.

Seriously, take a peek at the romance and tell me you wouldn’t fall for an awkward alien too (you don’t have to watch the entire 30 minutes, but it’s worth it!).

My obsession with Brandon’s voice has gotten to the point that anytime one of his commercials comes on tv, I yell out “GARRUS”, much to my husband’s annoyance.
