If you’re an avid Bachelor Nation fan like I am, then September to January is a hard time for you. There is no Bachelor franchise show for you to gossip about and you are slowly waiting for the premiere of The Bachelor in January.
However, there is a new spin-off this fall to tide you over. “Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?,” premiering Tuesday, October 11 on Freeform, will feature “The Bachelor” Season 20’s Ben Higgins and his fiancée Lauren Bushnell. The premise of the show is to give viewers an idea about what happens when the show is over, and they start their lives as a normal couple.
In the premiere episode, titled “Moving On,” viewers will get to see Ben and Lauren start settling into their normal, everyday lives. However, they cannot avoid the reality of fame and past relationships as they take a trip to Los Angeles to attend the “After the Final Rose” special for JoJo Fletcher’s season of “The Bachelorette.” Since JoJo was the other woman that Ben said “I love you” to, it forces Lauren to deal with this issue that’s been weighing on her relationship.
Also in this episode, former “Bachelor” contestants Haley and Emily Ferguson, also from Ben’s season, happen to be in Denver and help Lauren attempt to pick out and install a new toilet in her and Ben’s home.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I am all in for this. I’m super excited to see the other appearances from Bachelor franchise members like JoJo Fletcher, Jordan Rodgers, Grant Kemp, Lace Morris, Chris Soules, and even more that we probably don’t know about.
