Austin St. John (Jason Lee Scott/Red Ranger)
After playing Jason Lee Scott, the original Red Ranger, in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Power Rangers Zeo, Power Rangers Wild Force and in Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, Austin St. John went on to score roles in Expose and Footsteps. In addition to being an emergency medical technician, John has also gotten back into the acting game; fans can expect to see him in the upcoming projects Survival’s End, Gideon’s Frontier, Monsters at Large and A Gift of the Heart.
Thuy Trang (Trini Kwan/Yellow Ranger)
Thuy Trang starred in not only Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as Trini Kwan, the Yellow Ranger, but also in Spy Hard and The Crow: City of Angels. Sadly, she died in a tragic car accident on September 3, 2001.
Walter Jones (Zack Taylor/Black Ranger)
In the years post-Power Rangers, Walter Jones has been involved in a plethora of projects. He landed parts in Step by Step, Family Matters, Malibu Shores, Space Cases, The Burning Zone, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Spyder Games, The Shield and Mighty Med. In addition, he scored roles in the films Suckers, Love and a Bullet, American Gun, Speed Demons and Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. Fans can expect to see him in Red to Black, Man Without a Head, Star Trek: Captain Pike and Gideon’s Frontier.
Amy Jo Johnson (Kimberly Ann Hart/Pink Ranger)
Like her other castmates, Amy Jo Johnson’s first major role—that of Kimberly Hart, the Pink Ranger– was in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, a role which she also reprised in the 1995 Power Rangers movie. Afterwards, Johnson began to guest-star on a variety of shows, such as Saved by the Bell: The New Class, Night Vision and ER. In 1998, she scored her second big television role: that of Julie Emrick on Felicity, which was followed by major parts on The Division, Wildfire, Flashpoint and Covert Affairs. She also starred in the films Cold Hearts, Pursuit of Happiness, Infested, Islander, Summer Song and Tiger Eyes. Fans can expect to see her in the upcoming films The Space Between and In Between Days.
David Yost (Billy Cranston/Blue Ranger)
David Yost played Billy Cranston, the Blue Ranger, in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Might Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie and Power Rangers Zeo. His other acting credits include Ladykiller, After Different Strokes: When the Laughter Stopped and Degenerate.
Jason David Frank (Thomas “Tommy” Oliver/Green Ranger/White Ranger)
Jason David Frank played Tommy Oliver in not only Mighty Morphin Power Rangers but also Power Rangers Zeo, Power Rangers Turbo and Power Rangers DinoThunder. In addition, he has scored several film roles over the years, including Groups, Paris, Sirens of the Deep, The Dragon Warrior and Nerd Love. In 2015, he once again reprised his role as Tommy Oliver for the straight-to-video movie Power Rangers Super Megaforce: The Legendary Battle.
Johnny Yong Bosch (Adam Park/The Second Black Ranger)
After joining the cast of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as the second Black Ranger, Johnny Yong Bosch continued to be a part of the franchise for the first two motion pictures and the shows Power Rangers Zeo and Power Rangers Turbo. From there, he began to dedicate his talents to voice-acting for a number of anime projects and video games. He is also the frontman of the band Eyeshine, which has released twelve albums and two EPs.
Karan Ashley (Aisha Campbell/The Second Yellow Ranger)
Before signing on to play Aisha Campbell, the second Yellow Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Karan Ashley was a member of the short-lived girl group K.R.U.S.H., who contributed a song to the soundtrack of Mo’ Money. She remained within the Power Rangers world for two years before she was replaced by Nakia Burrise. Since then, Ashley has made guest appearances on several TV shows, such as Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper, Kenan & Kel and The Parkers, and scored roles in some minor films, including Taylor’s Wall. She made her debut as an editor and executive producer with the movie Devon’s Ghost, which was followed by Unto Thee, which she co-wrote. Like so many of her cast-mates, Karan Ashley has become a regular on the convention circuit.
Steven Cardenas (Rocky DeSantos/The Second Red Ranger)
Best known for playing Rocky DeSantos in Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, Power Rangers Zeo, Power Rangers Turbo and two feature films—Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers: The Movie and Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie—actor and esteemed martial artist Steve Cardenas has built quite a career for himself over the years. After leaving Power Rangers due to contract disagreements, Cardenas opened up martial arts studios in Burbank, CA and Texas. In 2009, he launched a program geared toward kids at Hollywood Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in West Hollywood. Then, in 2011, he opened the Force/Balance Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Yoga school. He has split his attention between teaching and participating in conventions ever since then.
Catherine Sutherland (Katherine “Kat” Hillard/The Second Pink Ranger)
Last but not least, we have Catherine Sutherland, who played Kat Hillard, the second Pink Ranger. She stayed on as that character through Power Rangers Turbo, after which she scored minor roles in the films Money Buys Happiness, On the Beach, The Cell and Texas Rangers. She also guest-starred on the shows State Coroner, Power Rangers Wild Force and Class Dismissed.
