Hidden Figures First Trailer

In between watching Simone Biles and Usain Bolt make history yesterday, if you had the chance to catch your breath, you probably caught a glimpse of the first trailer for Hidden Figures.

Hidden Figures has been much-anticipated since the announcement of the all-star beautiful cast consisting of Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, and Janelle Monáe. The movie tells the stories of four female black mathematicians who began working for NASA in the 1950s, Katherine G. Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson. Names we haven’t really heard about until now.

The trailer displays these women’s association with NASA’s Friendship 7 mission and highlights the issues that arose for them in the late 50s, early 60s.

I’m looking forward to Hidden Figures, which is being released January 13th, 2017, and the trailer looks promising!
