As most fans of pretty much anything know, one of the best fan experiences is getting the chance to go to a convention, where you can mingle, connect and generally geek out with fellow fans. Now, Maze Runner fans are getting the chance to do just that; the team behind Howlercon, a premiere Teen Wolf fan event, recently announced the first ever Maze Runner convention to be held November 11-13 at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel. Called Gladercon, organizers have already secured James Dashner (author of the Maze Runner books), Ki Hong Lee, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Chris Sheffield and Dexter Darden for this unique event, which will include talent panels from the author and film series’ cast, signing and autograph tables, a charity art auction, and small group meet and greets.
The event as a whole will be raising funds for First Book, which provides new books for children in need. To date, First Book has distributed more than 135 million books and educational resources to programs and schools serving children from low-income families throughout the United States and Canada. With this event sponsoring this wonderful charity organization, First Book will be able to transform and improve the lives of even more children.
