James Gunn took to Facebook Live to announce that Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 has officially wrapped shooting. As if that weren’t already amazing enough, he gave fans another great surprise!
Even though they just wrapped shooting, in a little over a month, fans will get the first sneak peek of the upcoming movie at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. James and Chris Pratt will both be in attendance at the convention and the movie is set to be released on May 5th in 2017. So we all have a little less than a year until we can get our much-needed dosage of Groot again.

Marvel will also be bringing Doctor Strange to San Diego Comic Con. The film is set to be released on November 4th in 2016. Even though none of the cast has been confirmed to attend the convention yet, I would say that there’s a good chance Benedict Cumberbatch could show up with some exclusives.
