Batman: The Killing Joke to Have Special One-Night Screening

Batman: The Killing Joke for many is one of the best graphic novels released in the Batman ‘verse, giving huge insight into The Joker‘s origins as a comic until his final break from Arkham Asylum and the events in between. The animated film tacked with an R-rating has been highly anticipated, and now fans in select cities will have the opportunity to see this awaited feature in their local theater!

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and Fathom Events have partnered to give The Killing Joke a special one-night big screen release on Monday, July 25, 2016. The film will screen at 7:30pm and 10:00 pm (local time) that night in a social screening event that will include exclusive-to-the-evening presentations before and after the film rolls!

This screening is set to air three days after the official premiere at San Diego Comic Con, and a day before it’s Digital HD release where you’ll be able to purchase and watch it before it’s finally released worldwide. Batman: The Killing Joke will finally arrive on  Blu-Ray™ Deluxe Edition, Blu-Ray™ Combo Pack, and DVD on August 2, 2016.
