Sammi Sanchez Drops New Single ‘Girls Talk’

Sammi Sanchez is ready to teach boys everywhere a valuable lesson, and it will not leave their heads any time soon.

Following the Sweet Dreams Tour with Megan Nicole and Alex Angelo, Sanchez is taking on 2016 with a whole new sound, releasing her brand new single “Girls Talk” today.

The song was co-written by Sanchez along with Koko La Roo (Bebe Rexha, Nicki Minaj), Melanie Fontana (Justin Bieber), Sam Sumser (Jason Derulo) and Sean Small.

With a voice deeply reminiscent of Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez, Sammi Sanchez produces a unique sound, creating a sassy single you’ll be listening to on repeat all summer.

At the heart of Sanchez’s music is a desire to help people. She loves that music can help people escape and heal. She hopes that listeners can relate to her music, or at the very least, feel good and dance their way through her songs. Drawing from her own life, ‘Girls Talk’ is a prime example of that hope.

“’Girls Talk’ was inspired by a personal experience. I dated a guy for a couple of months and later found out that he was talking to three other girls at the same time.” said Sanchez. “They were all my friends, and we put the pieces together one night when we were all on a Skype call together. I came into the studio and turned it into a song that I feel many people can relate to.”

Previously featured in magazines including Girls Life, Seventeen Mexico and Latina, Sanchez had an extremely successful 2015 year with singles “Butterflies” and the edgier “Talk.” Sanchez also found support from Radio Disney, with her songs debuting on the station and music videos featured on the station’s website.

Along with ‘Girls Talk,’ Sammi Sanchez sings in both English and Spanish and will soon be releasing an original song in Spanish.

We can’t wait to see what’s next for this rising star! Until then, we’ll just be over here, listening to “Girls Talk” on a loop. Check out our interview with Sammi about the song here!
