Help Fund Alberto Rosende’s American Identity Project
Alberto Rosende, who plays Simon on Freeform’s Shadowhunters, has launched an IndieGoGo campaign to help fund a documentary he is making with his brother to investigate and document if we have an identity as Americans and if so, what that identity is.
Alberto and his brother, director Diego Felipe, plan to traverse the nation with 3 crew members stopping in 15 different cities. Over the course of 77 days, they will investigate what we associate with American identity and how it changes from place to place; specifically, searching for what unites us rather than what divides us. With your help, they will gain insight into America today. If you decide to contribute to this campaign, you will be helping to bring our country a little closer together.
This is ambitious and there are further details as well as a breakdown of their expected expenses on the IndieGoGo site. In addition, there is a whole list of really cool incentives for donating to the project. The incentives start with donations as low as $5.00 but like any Indiegogo campaign they are more than happy to receive any amount that you are comfortable with donating.
