The Classic Crime has one of the most dedicated fan bases on the planet. The band is celebrating their 10-year anniversary with a new album of all original songs and a tour! The new project (their second as an independent act) was actually fully funded in the first 200 minutes ($30K people!) their Kickstarter page launched. That said, if you are a fan of this Seattle quartet there are still plenty of incredibly awesome incentives available for your pledge and Matt MacDonald, Robbie Negrin, Skip Erickson and Alan Clark hope you will take the time to see if there’s anything you HAVE to have for yourself.
Since they have met their goal, this album will get made. How it gets made and what outside help they hire depends entirely on the additional funding they can generate through this campaign. They are hoping to collect enough extra money to hire their friend and kick-ass producer, Michael “Elvis” Baskette (producer and mixer of Albatross, The Silver Cord, and Vagabonds, and mixer of Phoenix). The band has earned an average of 300% of their project goal with their last two self-funded albums, can you, will you, help them beat this goal by 300% as well?
