Born in Paris, France, Elodie Yung has been acting since 2002. She has several notable roles under belt, including the English version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and G.I. Joe: Retaliation.
Earlier this year Gods of Egypt was released in theaters. Elodie played Hathor, who in Egyptian lore is the goddess of love, motherhood, and fertility. I haven’t seen the film yet, but will probably check it out in a few months.
And now the biggest role I have ever seen Elodie in: Netflix released season 2 of Daredevil last Friday and the amazing Ms. Yung does a fantastic job portraying the Greek assassin/Daredevil love interest, Elektra Natchios. I love the character, so I was extremely pleased to see how Elodie brought Elektra to life. Now I’m wishing for an Elektra spin-off. *cough* Netflix *cough*
