Voting Opened to the Public for Radio Disney Music Awards

Radio Disney has now officially opened the polls for the Radio Disney Music Awards!

Fans can now vote for their favorite nominees until April 10 through various methods, like the Radio Disney app, Facebook, Twitter, Google OneBox, and by following the Disney.com/RDMA link. Some of the popular nominees include Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, One Direction, Shawn Mendes, and DNCE. Let’s hope that the large and diverse group of nominees leads to exceeding the over 101 million votes tallied from last year’s polls!

To celebrate the announcement, Disney began airing reaction videos of artists learning about their nominations as part of a short titled #Oh My ARDY. The short began airing on March 4th and is scheduled to run the entire weekend. Artists including Fall Out Boy, Meghan Trainor, Daya, DNCE, Alessia Cara, and Kelsea Ballerini will all find out that they’re nominated for a range of awards, such as Best Music Group (Fall Out Boy), Best Female Artist (Meghan Trainor), and Breakout Artist of the Year (Alessia Cara).

Other awards that will be presented at the ceremony on April 30th in Los Angeles are Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Anthem, Fiercest Fans, and much more! Tickets to attend the ceremony will go on sale Friday, March 11th, and will be available through AXS.com/RDMA. The ceremony will also be made available to the public during a two-hour telecast on the Disney Channel the following night, May 1, at 7 pm E.D.T. in the U.S. It will then premiere in 159 other countries following the U.S. airing. Can’t catch the telecast? Have no worries! Radio Disney and its app, along with the Disney Channel app, will all be reporting highlights from the award show.

But there can’t be winners without you, so remember to vote by going Disney.com/RDMA! Voting closes on Sunday, April 10th, so don’t miss your chance to help your favorite artists win!
