Panic! At The Disco Looks to High Schoolers For New Music Video

BA_AAHSFF_Contest_AdPanelFor many budding videographers, the chance to work with one of their favorite artists can seem like a pipe dream. Alt-rock band Panic! at the Disco is doing their part to bring this dream a little bit closer.

Fresh off the band’s first number one album, Death of a Bachelor, Panic! at the Disco has joined together with Music Choice to create the “Music Choice Presents: Panic! At The Disco Music Video Challenge.” Each participant will create their own video for the band’s latest single, “Victorious.” The winning video will premiere during the All-American High School Film Festival and will air on Music Choice On Demand, the Music Choice app.

“As my fans know, I love to interact with them – whether it be online or at shows,” said Panic! at the Disco frontman Brendon Urie. “I can’t wait to see the submissions we get from budding creatives around the world to bring the music video for “Victorious” to life!”

Originally released November 13, 2015, “Victorious” was the second single from Panic! at the Disco’s fifth studio album. “Victorious” registered at 11 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. The official video has garnered over 11 million views on YouTube.

This will be the band’s first collaboration with the All-American High School Film Festival, the largest high school film festival in America. In the past three years, the New York-based AAHSFF has received over 3,000 film submissions and screened 500 each year.

The deadline to submit to the “Music Choice Presents: Panic! At The Disco Music Video Challenge” is July 11th. All entries into the category are free. For more submission rules and regulations as well as complete information, visit www.hsfilmfest.org.
