The much-anticipated Netflix release of Fuller House had a noticeable impact on broadcast television. According to Variety.com there was a 3% decline in ratings the night of its release. Although ratings for the show itself are unavailable from Netflix, who famously doesn’t release numbers, it looks as if the Fuller/Tanner/Gibbler household must be doing fairly well as Netflix announced a season 2 pick-up today.

Reviews for the show have been rough, but fan support has been strong. Even before the Full House revival aired, fans were gobbling up any mention of the show they could find. The official trailer has over 5 million views on YouTube. Now fans are holding out hope the Olsen twins will change their mind and make an appearance in season 2.
In the meantime, fans can enjoy a little more of Jodi Sweetin when she makes her debut on the 22nd season of Dancing with the Stars which debuts on ABC, March 21st. Don’t forget, Stephanie Tanner was quite the dancer.
