The 42nd Saturn Awards Nominations

The Saturn Awards nominations have officially been announced for 2016, with Star Wars: The Force Awakens leading the movie category with 15 nominations and The Walking Dead leading the television category with 7 nominations. The Saturn Awards organization is the official awards group of The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Films and recognize the best content in these genres. This year’s ceremony will include a new category, Best New Media Television Series, which will recognize some of the great television shows from digital streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon.
