HBO NOW Highlights — March 2016

New original programming highlights in March include two Oscar®-nominated documentary short films: A Girl in the River: The Price of Forgiveness and Body Team 12 — both of which will compete for the Best Documentary (Short Subject) trophy at the Academy Awards® on February 28.

In addition to new episodes of Vinyl, Girls, Togetherness and Animals. throughout the month, Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill — a filmed performance of six-time Tony Award® winner Audra McDonald’s acclaimed portrayal of Billie Holiday — debuts in March, along with Everything is Copy, an illuminating, candid portrait of writer and screenwriter-director Nora Ephron that was written and directed by her son, Jacob Bernstein.

New theatrical highlights include a double dose of Melissa McCarthy with Spy and Tammy, plus Pitch Perfect 2, Super Troopers and Charlotte’s Web. Also new to HBO NOW are Barbershop, Barbershop 2: Back in Business and Beauty Shop — ahead of the theatrical premiere of Barbershop: The Next Cut in April — and The Birdcage, just in time for its 20th anniversary in March.
