First Look at Cameron Esposito’s Stand-Up Special

Comedian Cameron Esposito is an American comedian best known for her stand-up comedy, which often focuses on LGBTQ+ topics and references aspects of her lesbian identity. Originally from Chicago, Esposito now resides in Los Angeles with her wife and fellow comedian Rhea Butcher.
Esposito decided to do something dramatically different for her bachelor party: record her first standup special “Marriage Material.” The show was filmed in Cameron’s hometown of Chicago in front of a sold out crowd just two days before her wedding. This hilarious special covers a wide variety of timely topics including gun control and marriage equality! “Marriage Material” will premiere on March 24 via NBC’s streaming comedy channel Seeso and be available as an audio release on March 25 via iTunes, Spotify and Pandora. The New York Times says:
“(Cameron is) one of the rising stars on the stand-up scene for her politically progressive comedy and focus on modern LGBT issues”
“Marriage Material” follows on the heels of Esposito’s chart-topping release ‘Same Sex Symbol’ (Kill Rock Stars) which went to #1 on iTunes comedy and was named a Best of 2014 Comedy Album by Paste, The AV Club, Los Angeles Magazine, Consequence of Sound, Exclaim! and others.
