Steve Carell Returns to Comedy

Steve Carell returns to comedy in the upcoming movie, “Europe and Other Mistakes” or “Euro Style”. Carell will produce and star in the movie with Universal, set to premiere some time in 2017.  After taking a break from comedy to pursue serious roles in movies such as Foxcatcher and The Big Short, he is slowly stepping back into the comedic realm. For Euro Style he is teaming up with co-directors Glenn Ficarra and John Regua, who he worked with on the hit romantic comedy “Crazy Stupid Love” back in 2011.

Carell recently created a parody crime show with his wife called Angie Tribeca. Starring Rashida Jones, Jere Burns, and Andree Vermeulen, the crew fights crime no matter the cost. At first glance, it seems like any other dramatic crime show, but honestly what can you expect from the network that brings you American Dad, Conan, and Full Frontal with Samantha Bee?
