So What?! Music Festival Continues to Add Bands to Its Line-up

Hello, my name is Arlene Allen, and I love all things nerd: genre tv and movies, books, loud rock and roll music, kittens, conventions, books, graphic novels and superheroes, RPG and tabletop games, and did I say books? This year’s music festival season is already gearing up to knock fans’ socks off! The 9th annual So What?! Music Festival (formerly South By So What?!) will be taking place on March 19th and 20th at Quiktrip Park in Grand Prairie, TX. The festival has already announced a slew of heavy hitters including Underoath, New Found Glory, Bayside, State Champs, Neck Deep, Real Friends, Blessthefall and more. The festival is thrilled to unveil their latest round of artists including Fit for a King, Sirens & Sailors, Waterparks, Harbour, and some of this year’s emerging acts. So What?! Music Festival delivers an array of musical acts including rock, metal, folk, dance, pop, pop-punk, and this year an all new acoustic stage (artists yet to be announced). With two full days of music at reasonable prices, the festival stands to be every bit as successful as in previous years, if not more so. So What?! Festival differs from other festivals in that it was created for fans, by fans. In 2008, Mike Ziemer, founder and promoter, and his company, Third String Festivals, had a vision of a more intimate show, different from Texas’ massively growing South by Southwest Festival. Grand Prairie is just a few hours south of Austin. Former headliners include Taking Back Sunday, A Day to Remember, G-Easy, Pierce the Veil and more. This year’s So What?!
