Lead singer Trenton Woodley says, “”It feels damned good to get this one out – even more so, with such a sweet video by our dear friend Megan Thompson (of PBS NewsHour Weekend).” Woodley goes on to say, “Colourblind is about our cultural obsession with binary ideas – black and white, or politically left or right, for or against, right or wrong. We’re so caught up in black, white and the infinite shades of grey we forget that colour is in everything. Oh and yes, there is a ‘u’ in Colourblind.” We’re Australian.”

Dissonants was produced by James Paul Wisner (Paramore, Underoath), and features twelve massive rock-radio anthems. Fans can pre-order the album now at iTunes (with an instant download of “Colourblind”),, and

Hands Like Houses formed in Australia in 2008. They released their debut album in March 2012, and they were amongst the line up for the US Vans Warped in 2015. Oh, yes. I spent 25 years as a librarian (nerd) mainly working with youth (creating nerds), a number of years as a teacher (more nerd indoctrination). I have my own spawn, leveled up to 22 and my partner in nerdiness. As a nerdy writer, I have found a home at Talk Nerdy With Us.
