MTV’s Teen Wolf Gets a New Night
Executive Producer Jeff Davis announced during the Teen Wolf panel at New York Comic Con that next season will premiere on a new night. Season 5B episodes will run on Tuesdays at 9pm on MTV followed by The Shannara Chronicles at 10pm. That’s right, Moondays are officially a thing of the past. Until somebody comes up with a better pun, Tyler Posey appropriately coined the phrase Teen Wolf Tuesdays for the new night.
This is a very smart move for MTV as they try to promote their new big budget series, The Shannara Chronicles. If they are successful, they will be able to secure fans of the supernatural for two hours each week in an attempt to revive the network. Teen Wolf’s ratings have fallen substantially over the past couple seasons, so maybe the new night is just what the show needs. Only time will tell, but in the meantime, you can watch the trailer for season 5B here.
