iZombie: Let’s Turn Our Life Around with a Happy Song

Spoiler alert:  This article contains information from the iZombie episode “Even Cowgirls Get the Black and Blues” which may not have aired yet in some regions.

Liv Moore has had very little to sing about in the past year. Unless she belted out a sad rendition of “My boyfriend dumped me and my best friend ran away from me because I’m a zombie” blues.  But in the  iZombie episode titled “Even Cowgirls Get the Black and Blues”, Liv had plenty to sing about after eating the brains of a murdered country singer. But instead of singing the blues, she got her country honky-tonk on.

But the singing and the lackluster case played second fiddle to the emotional moments Liv experienced. Fans were happy when Liv and Peyton hugged and made up. Even zombies need a gal pal and Peyton is Liv’s.

Breaking through a boyfriend’s barrier proved to be a major (pun definitely intended) obstacle for Liv. Though she delivered a heartfelt speech, Major’s heart was unfelt.  Though to give credit where credit is due, it was hard for Major to think clearly in the drug induced haze he’s been in lately. By the episode’s conclusion, Liv and Major kissed and made up and undoubtedly, fans were singing “Happy Days are here again!”

Will their reunion last?

iZombie airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on The CW.
