Spoiler Alert:  This article contains information form the episode “Meet Bonnie” which may not have aired yet in some regions.

How To Get Away With Murder has established early on that Bonnie will do anything to protect Annalise even at the expense of her own well-being, morals and perhaps, her sanity.

In “Meet Bonnie’, viewers got to see Bonnie’s lie that she murdered Sam spin out of control.  Asher, who was kept out of loop by The Keating Five (sounds like a musical group) in the Sam murder/cover-up, could prove to be a serious threat to the group.

The character of Asher seems to be the “you’re not cool enough to hang out with us”/odd man out character on the show.  It’s sometimes easy to forget that he is a law student and in Annalise’s class. It leads viewers to wonder if part of the reason he got involved with Bonnie was to fit in.

How To Get Away With Murder could have a new show title, “How To Get Away With Lies”.  Every week, there’s the lie, as well as the other lies to cover up the primary lie.  Annalise is the master manipulator and protégé Bonnie is an eager pupil, following in her mentor’s footsteps.  It’s a shame that this obviously intelligent woman has fallen so far.  She is now just as dangerous as she is dishonest and Asher better watch his step.

How To Get Away With Murder airs Thursdays 10/9c on ABC.
