Top Five Musical Performances by Jensen Ackles

We all know that Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles is one of the most underrated actors/directors on television.

For 11 seasons we have known him as the loyal, sarcastic and unapologetic Dean Winchester. But did you know that he could sing as well?

If you have been one of the lucky fans to attend a Supernatural Convention, you’ll see that every so often, fans are treated to a performance by Jensen, Mark Sheppard and Louden Swain.

For my Top 5 this week, here are my favorite musical performances by Jensen Ackles!

(5) Sister Christian –  Performed this past spring during Supernatural Vegas Con. What made this even more amazing was the fans were also treated by the first appearance of Jeffrey Dean Morgan at a convention!

(4). The Weight. This is one of the first occasions where the shy actor performed. Bravo!

(3). Angeles. Ok, this video isn’t a convention performance technically, but I had to add it to the list. See for yourself why.

(2). Wild Mountain Thyme. I could only find a small clip of this. Jensen has even said he performs this tune for his young daughter, JJ.

(1). Simple Man. Performed from this past weekend’s Supernatural Convention in Vancouver. Now, I have come to the conclusion that there is nothing Jensen can’t do. Brilliant.
