Promised Land Sound’s New Album Is a “Delight”

Listening to the maturity displayed in the new album by Promised Land Sound, For Use and Delight, it’s hard to image a group of young men barely in their twenties wrote and performed these songs. Under them/like under water/they’re drowning you in everything you lost–these are not the words of young upstarts. There is no doubt that Promised Land Sound is wise beyond their years. Using their trademark psychedelic riffs and a mellow tempo, they’ve developed the perfect mix of trippy and tranquil. The influence of the Nashville scene does not go unnoticed, but Promised Land Sound manages to make each track uniquely their own.
For Use and Delight is due out October 2, 2015, and soon after the band begins touring.
