Poldark season 1 finale airs August 2

Fans in America who have come to love Ross Poldark will have to say goodbye when Poldark airs a two-hour season 1 finale Sunday, August 2.

The finale will consist of episodes 7 and 8.

It has already been announced that a second series will begin filming in Cornwall in the Fall, but it’s too soon to tell whether American audiences will get the privilege of viewing it.

What will happen with Ross, Demelza, Francis, Elizabeth, Verity and the Warleggans?  Will season 1 end in triumph or tragedy?
