It all comes down to this, The Messengers face the Four Horsemen in the series finale. Will humanity’s last hope save the world from the Apocalypse? Will they stop the Four Horsemen from breaking the fifth of six seals required to start Armageddon? Will Vera, Joshua, Raul, Erin, Peter and Koa prevail or is mankind doomed?
Unfortunately, regardless of whether The Messengers succeed the show hasn’t been renewed for a second season. The show created by Eoghan O’Donnell has a strong cast and powerful writing, but perhaps the Friday night time slot was the kiss of death.
The Messengers epic series finale airs July 24 at 9:00PM on The CW.
