To hear the words “I want to love with the courage of an open heart” wailed with the power that one would expect to hear demonic ramblings of normal hard rock is almost otherworldly, and it’s clear from the words that frontman Buddy Nielsen’s spiritual journey is well conveyed in this heartfelt album.

Your heartstrings will be pulled while your head bangs to the beats of this roller coaster ride of rhythm, but don’t be fooled by the band’s hardcore reputation; there are moments of softness and vulnerability in the album that perfectly balance with the edgy beats and throaty vocals. Overall, a very solid album and well worth picking up.
